Claire is a contributing writer for SoCo Magazine, a monthly publication focusing on issues and stories of interest to the communities of the south coast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Until recently, she was also the managing editor.

Prior to working for SoCo, she worked for two and a half years as a technical writer, proofreader and copyeditor for Hewlett-Packard Company. She liaised with various persons within the company (via NetMeeting, teleconference, and e-mail), obtained technical content, wrote new documentation, proofread and copyedited draft copies, and finally, stored documents on-line for user access. She updated intranet web pages as documentation was revised, copyedited weekly and monthly newsletters, and managed a library of FAQs.

Claire also works on a freelance basis and is available for consultancy work.
